why is a grape vineyard a monoculture?
i’m doing a glossary for ecology and i chose to define Monoculture. i need to include examples and i wrote a wheat field because wheat was in need and growing an abundance of it would be practical. anyone know why a grape vineyard or apple orchard would be practical as a monoculture?
because to get maximum yield and to make `tending ` the crop easy just growing one type and usually only one variety of a crop makes it more economically efficient.
