What is a good sustainable project?

I have been asked to design something with sustainability in mind for an A-level DT project. I can pick whatever I want. But preferably an area which needs solving so my product or design can have a purpose.

I first decided to go with designing sustainable club/hotel interiors+furniture. However I am beginning to have second thoughts.

Do you guys have any ideas? It doesn’t have to be something that has never been done before. But something interesting.
