Ecological Impact Assessment

Case studies where Local Ecological Knowledge or Traditional Ecological Knowledge are used in E.I.A.?
Basically i need some case studies/examples where Local Ecological Knowledge (LEK) and/or Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) were used in an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
I also need a case study where TEK/LEK wasn’t used in the EIA process.
It doesn’t matter about what country it happened in, i just need some case studies.
Realistically i need three good ones. And i’m trying to argue that it should be used in EIA (with caution).
I’ve done a few in which I tapped the knowledge of local experts. Probably the best known would be the EIS for Interstate 476, in Pennsylvania. There was also one for Scott (Hyponex) peat mining in New Jersey. Where someone has been birding on a site for years, it would be a waste of time to try to duplicate his effort when you don’t have to.
