Biology Ecology Jobs

i dont know what i can do with my bachelors in biology with ecology emphasis. help?
i graduated last year from UCI and i took a year off for myself to do things i wanted to do (travel etc) but im finding it difficult to find something to do with this bachelors degree. i have always had interest in nature, marine life but i cant seem to find a job that doesnt require me to have years of experience in the field! there HAS to be work out there for people that want to work in their major field of study that are looking to apply to graduate school later on in life. if anyone knows where i can find these jobs and where to look, or what i can do with this degree, please help! i feel so lost!
serious answers only pls
Well, one thing you need to decide first (perhaps you’ve already done it) is whether you’re going to pursue the academic route and go on to get a master’s or a PhD. That is a basic decision, because you’re either going to look for a job in an academic setting (i.e. an university) or elsewhere.
Second, are you willing to travel/work abroad? What is your financial situation? With no previous experience, it’s true that you will have to start at something that may be less enjoyable, but an entry-level job may be what you need to gain a couple of years of experience.

Good luck!
